1. What deposit/insurance options are available when booking?

We offer two options to guarantee the security of the rental:
Refundable security deposit: The customer leaves an amount as a guarantee, which will be returned at the end of the rental, as long as the vehicle is returned in the same condition as it was delivered.
All-risk insurance: Instead of leaving a security deposit, the customer can opt for insurance that covers any eventuality, except misuse of the vehicle.

2. How can I leave the security deposit?

For rentals of up to 6 days, the deposit can be left by credit card.
For rentals of more than 6 days, the deposit must be left in cash or by bank transfer.

3. Can I pick up or return the car outside opening hours or on a Sunday?

Yes. We deliver and collect on Sundays and outside opening hours, for an additional fee.

4. Does Sobreicar do short and long-term rentals?

Yes. We offer solutions for both short-term rentals (days or weeks) and long-term rentals (months), adapted to your needs.

5. What is included in the rental?

Each rental includes:
– Unlimited mileage;
– Roadside assistance;
– Third party insurance.

6. What is considered misuse of the vehicle?

Misuse includes, but is not limited to:
– Negligent or dangerous driving;
– Driving off-road;
– Using the vehicle for racing or unauthorized transport;
– Fuel misuse.

In these cases, all-risk insurance does not cover the damage.

7. How do I make a reservation?

You can make your reservation directly on our website, by phone or by e-mail. All you have to do is indicate the dates, place of delivery/collection and the deposit or insurance option you want.

8. What is Sobreicar’s fuel policy?

You must return the car with the same fuel as when you picked it up. Otherwise, a fee of 60€ plus the cost of the missing fuel will be charged.

9. Is it possible to have several drivers?

It is possible to reserve the car for use by more than one driver. Simply indicate the number of additional drivers in the booking process. An additional driver fee will apply per driver.
